How to reach Xoco Villas

Leaving Guatemala City, take the Roosevelt Highway (Calzada Roosevelt). Heading west, this becomes the Panamerican Highway. If you’re leaving from Antigua Guatemala, go west toward San Lorenzo el Tejar where you’ll join the Panamerican Highway.

On the Panamerican Highway going west, pass through the intersection at Los Encuentros (Kilometer 125). Three kilometers further on turn left off the highway at a road junction called La Cuchilla and follow the sign toward Lake Atitlán. This is a narrower road and will take you through the town of Sololá, the department capital, which has a very popular local market.

The distance from the highway turnoff to Panajachel is 21 kilometers with scenic views of the Lake and volcanoes. After Sololá, there are two spots where you can pull off the road to admire the panorama.

Once you are in Panajachel, find the road that goes to Santa Catarina Palopó. From there it will be 6 kilometers, and once again you’ll see spectacular views.

Go through Santa Catarina for another ½ kilometer and to your left you’ll see the entrance to Xoco Villas. Welcome!
